HDR 46

License to wed:
I was actually not completely annoyed with this movie. It wasn't the funniest thing I've ever seen or anything but I usually don't like the movies where there's a guy who is pretty much screwing over someone else (EX: Anger Management). Robin Williams was pretty funny and his little side kick was AWESOME! I laughed out loud a handful of times too. Mandy Moore is underrated as a hot chick and the Office guy was pretty good in his role too, except that it is unlikely that he'd land a girl like Mandy... Boom Roasted!! Anyway, good date movie and has a "sweet" ending.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor:
Another Mummy! Kinda... well, it was pretty decent. I pretty much stuck to the mummy series humor and action. Over the top. Random. Unrealistic as heck and pretty much lame but interesting the entire time. Soooo basically, if you've liked the first few mummy movies, ***gasp***... you'll like this one! and versa vicea. I personally don't mind them but I'm not hoping for another one.

The Hoax:
Do you know who Howard Hughes is? well, me neither ... haha jk but anyway, there's this reporter guy who is pretty much going to get fired or something and he comes up with this great scam to convince his publishing company that he's got this once in a lifetime chance to publish howard hughes autobiography. Anyway, it keeps getting crazier and crazier the more this guy lies and then... well, you know. Based on a true story this movie was actually pretty interesting. Not the greatest movie in the world or anything but worth a mind-numbing 2+ hours on a Sunday afternoon at least.

The Constant Gardener:
Great great movie! So there's this guy and his wife just got killed in Africa and this guy is going to get to the bottom of it. He finds out there's all sorts of crazy shady stuff going on there and he does his best to avenge his wife's death and make good in the world. Ray Fiennes and Rachel Weisz are the actors and Ray does an AMAZING job in this movie. I was very impressed with this movie and the acting and the story everything! great great movie. Loved it.

This is England:
What a messed up place we live in sometimes. This movie was a weird look into the lives of some teenagers growing up and finding their own and who get corrupted by a big ass racist neo-nazi type kid. The main character seems to be the youngest and gets taken in by the big racist and takes him under his wing. This movie is just so extremely messed up, but not b/c it a messed up movie, but b/c there are really people this full of hatred out there in the world. I couldn't ever imaging hating someone solely based on skin color or race. I just couldn't do it. I will admit I've had some moments of agreeing with a handful of stereotypes but I know that a handful of idiots don't make the whole race evil. Anyway, I enjoy movies that make me think but this one just made me hate people like that. So maybe I am racist... I hate people that hate people... does that mean I hate myself? I'm confused... help me Jesus! Oh wait, he tells me to pray for them. So I will. After this blog.
