So remember when I said that most of the new animated movies that had come out had been pretty good? Well, this was one of the exceptions. Now, it wasn't a terrible movie but it really missed the mark. The plot is basically about racism between a handful of imaginary creatures. Okay... really? I mean, I get the point but do we need this in a cartoon? Let's stick with good guys and bad guys and the good guys win. Enough race relations in cartoons. Let's let kids be kids and bombard them with race wars when they get older. Hell, if the parents aren't already teaching them with good values a cartoon isn't going to help. Anyway, the movie was lame and cheesy and not really that visually stunning either. Just didn't win me over.
