Wedding Date: chick flick. and a pretty stupid one if you asked me. i think i had seen this one before too adn just blocked it from memory or something b/c i really didn't want to watch it again. the chick from will and grace was the main girl and she ain't exactly my favorite girl to watch... mostly bc i hated that show and 2nd b/c i dont think she's all that hot. the story was very lame too, it was about a girl who hires a man lady of the night to take her to her sister's wedding or something like that. anyway, of course, she falls in love with the man lady of the night and they live happily ever after, blah blah blah

Bug: this movie was strange. it had ashley judd as some junkie abused redneck lady out in the middle of no where and she is introduced to this crazy guy who ends up convincing her that she has these little bugs crawling all over hte place that are put there by the gov't. this was one of those classic psychopathic stories which i enjoyed even though it was so totally fucked up that it really was scary... not scary in the sense that i was worried about it being true but scary in the sense that there are actually people out there that believe this stuff and it could have been a true story or something. pretty messed up stuff if you asked me.

Van wilder 2, the rise of taj: well, how much can you really expect from a sequel to the movie van wilder? honestly it had more of a plot than i expected and thought it was almost too much of a real movie than just a drug and alcohol induced binge. i did notice a few times at how bad the acting was though and thought to myself did they do that on purpose or what? but i think it wasn't and that made it funnier to me.

couple more movie reviews while I"m on vacation here in mass...

who killed the electric car: documentary on the electric car, or now, the lack there of. Do you remember that little electric car they made like 10 eyars ago? it was this little sporty thing in Cali that got about 300 miles per charge and they actually were zero emission and decently good looking. Well, turns out (as always) the oil companies and car companies didn't really like this idea b/c it was different and it was awesome and ground breaking to the point of world changing. And this is were things piss me off hte most. so they recalled the cars and destroyed them forever! wtf man, this is why the world is going ot hell fast and until some fucker with balls actually gets elected and says funk you car companies and funk you oil companies we are all fucking screwed. This shot really strikes a nerve with me and if you want to know why it does, watch the movie and get pissed at "your" government again!

two for the money: its been a while since i watched a movie that was made in teh 80s yet this movie had that feel of an old 80s movie and not a new modern movie. it don't really know what it was about this movie but it just seemed like it was 15 years old for some reason. The story was kind of lame and when a movie can't get rights to use real NFL teams and players it really makes it kinda Federline! therefore this movie was kind of lame. but i'm not blaming the movie i'm blaming hte nfl and more specifically the Cheaters b/c it's fun to blame stuff on them for no reason.

finding neverland: i heard this one was good but i didn't really want to see a movie about peter pan again. I mean, we've already got Hook and disney's peter pan that are decent so i thought going for a 3rd was over kill. Little did I know that this wasn't really a peter pan movie as much as it was a god movie about a guy who kind of adopts a family. anyway, i dont really feel like typing that much but i really enjoyed this movie and can see what the fuss was about now.

Instinct: Weird movie with anthony hopkins and some gorrillas. not guerillas, that would have been cooler, b/c these monkeys and this story weren't much to watch. Now we were turned onto this movie b/c someone we knew said it was a story that was kind of parallel to jesus (like meaning that one of the gorrillas would be like jesus to protect his other "family") but anyway, thinking this really took away from the plot and movie for me and i was disappointed in this parallel and thought it was a decent movie but nothing great. It was kind of long to me too, maybe it was b/c it seemed to drag or osomething but it ended in a cliche' and didn't really impress me too much

Just like heaven: One of the better chick flicks but still a chick flick. If you want to save some time, see either this or the invisible but not both. they are pretty much the same movie but one is more chick flick that the other

Meet the Robinsons: funny cartoon. I wanted to see this movie b/c of that one commercial where there's a t-rex and it's trying to catch the boy and it goes "i have a big head, and little arms" and waves it's arms around in a funny way and i still thought that was the best part of this movie but it didn't really take away from the movie for me at all.

Transformers:
awesome movie. great action, great special effects, cool story (i guess) and good acting... oh yea and some hot chick that i'd never seen before. Anyway, i really enjoyed this more than i was expecting and thought that even though it was crazy stupid with the plot it still was very interesting and had great moments of action and humor. That kid who is the main character is a great actor and will be aorund for a long long time i'm sure esp after a roll like this. I expect ot see this movie ruined in about a year or 2 though, when they make a sequel that sucks so bad that the first one is never the same

The invisible: decently good... not that great of a plot but a decent story line. The kid is "dead" and is trying to avenge his own death by reaching out to some girl who "killed him". turns out to be a weird @$$ love story and ends strangely. I don't think they could have done much better with the plot though so i guess they did a decent job. I don't really have much of an opinion of htis movie as it didn't really make much of an impact ha!

Surf's Up: cartoon with some penguins who like to surf. Good voices (same kid that was in transformers I think) and decent cartoon animation too. This movie would be pretty good for kids i thought, and wasn't too bad for adults either. Add to the fact that it wasn't "happy feet" and it gets and extra boost in my book.

Sorry, it's been awhile and i'm still watching movies but i keep forgetting to do this stuff b/c I"m so super busy! haha

anyway...

Reign on me: VERY GOOD movie! Very Good! I really enjoyed this movie, BOTH times I watched it. Adam Sandler is very underrated as a serious actor and Don Cheadle (sp?) aka "the black guy" is excellent as well. I really enjoyed this movie to the point i bought it. I really didn't know what to expect as they seemd to milk the whole 9/11 thing in the previews but i was pleasantly surprised and will probably watch this movie again very soon and glad it's in my collection.

Idlewild: Better movie than I expected but still not terribly great. I enjoyed it enough to almost have forgotten it only a few weeks later now that I am writing this review. But anyway Outcast did a great job with this one and I could def hear their styles throughout the whole movie and they both did a good job with the acting too. The chick in the movie is extremely hot as well. (she's also in deja vu)

Anyway decent flick but nothign to shout from teh roof tops..

The Reaping: Pretty cool movie. I think it didn't do that well in the theaters so it kinda killed their idea to make a sequel but then again what do i know... they did make 4 jaws didn't they? yeah so anyway, religious movies seem to flop in the theatres but i enjoyed this one and even though it was kinda out there the acting was good and the plot was decent as well. Nothing all that intense or anything but pretty cool over all...
